Welcome To Wags & Whiskers, Inc. Pet Grooming Salon and Gift Boutique. Celebrating 23 years in business. Wags & Whiskers is owned and managed by Laura Hensley.

Laura graduated from The Tara Lara School of Dog Grooming located in Portland Oregon, after successfully completeing the Master Dog Grooming Course.  Laura purchased Wags & Whiskers in 1989.

Wags & Whiskers is committed to grooming your pets in a safe and clean enviroment. We groom most pure breed and mix breed dogs.

Along with Laura, Wags & Whiskers is proud to bring our clients a second groomer and one helper. Jennifer Jones has been grooming for 13 years. Jennifer started her grooming career while still in high school, training with a women who raised and showed Cocker Spaniels.  Jennifer has excellent scissoring skills and is very good with small dogs. Jennifer is owned by 2 dogs , Frankie and Tigre,along with three cats.

Laura has been grooming for 18 years. She is owned by two loving dogs. Daphne, a Shih Tzu mix and queen of the shop and Brutus who stays at home to provide entertaiment for Laura's three cats.

The New Wags & Whiskers Gift Shop

In October of 2004 Laura opened a gift boutique in the shop. "We carry unique gifts for pets and the people they own.  We also have a nice selection of gifts for people who do not have pets. We carry fancy collars, sweaters, jewerly, faux fur coats, dog breed picture purses, Swan Creek skillet candles, Candlelicious Candles, The Lang Company Wax melters, The Lang Company Calenders, Sun Feeders from Pipstem Creek, gourmet dog treats, soy dipped scented bears. We also have signed copies of Bonnie Marlewski Probert's Dogs Tales For The Soul along with Bonnie's Horse Tales series."

Hours of Operation and Available Services

Wags & Whiskers Pet Grooming Salon and Gift Boutique is open Tuesday Thru Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Grooming is by appointment only. Included in the grooming service:

Brush out,

Clip & Style,

Bathing with hypo allergenic aloe vera based shampoo,

Fluff Drying,

toe nails trimmed and filed,

hair plucked from ear canal,

anal glands checked and expressed,

scissor finished,

bows and or bandanas and cologne.

Grooming prices are based on breed, behavior and size of your dog, along with condition and length of your dogs coat.
